GB 8624:2006 This standard replaced GB 8624:1997, this amendment by the European Union standards EN 13501-1:2002. And EN 13501-1:2002 main difference is that in addition to the standard used in all tests under EN 13501-1:2002 methods and classification, the class also provides some additional products of combustion toxicity test requirements.

The standard and GB 8624:1997 significant change compared, the main changes are as follows:
- The standard of the paving and pipe insulation materials, combustion provides separately for classification, combustion performance levels by the subscript fl and L to distinguish between, respectively;
- Combustion properties of the material divided by the A-level (homogeneous materials), A-level (composite sandwich materials), B1, B2 and B3 into five levels A1, A2, B, C, D, E, F or A1fl, A2fl, Bfl, Cfl, Dfl, Efl, Ffl or A1L, A2L, BL, CL, DL, EL, FL 7 level;

Combustion properties of materials determine the level of test methods and criteria used by large changes, especially considering the heat of combustion value of the development rate of fire, smoke production rate of combustion elements;

GB / T 5464 Burning Test building products - not flammable test (similar to ISO EN 1182)
GB / T 11785 paving combustion performance measurement - radiation heat Court (similar to ISO EN 9239-1)
GB / T 14402 Test method of heat of combustion materials (similar to ISO EN 1716)
GB / T 20285 Classification dangerous toxic smoke from materials
GB / T 20284 building materials or products of single combustion test (SBI) (similar to ISO EN 13823)
