DIN 54837:2007 Testing of materials, small components and component sections for rail vehicles-Determination of burning behaviour using a gas burner.
DIN54837 the test method is used to DIN 5510-2 in the S2-S5 burning level test.
S2: damage range ≤ 30cm
S3: damage range ≤ 25cm, after the burning time ≤ 100S
S4: damage range ≤ 20cm, after the burning time ≤ 10S
S5: damage range = 0cm, after the burning time = 0S
DIN 54837 the test can also smoke development (does not meet the SR1, SR1-SR2) and droplet test (ST1-ST2)
